Changing MTH engine shell question

boomer0622OGR Forum Member SUPPORTING MEMBERDIGITAL SUBSCRIBER

I have a Amtrak dash 8, 30-2484-1 and I would like to change the shell to something else, anything but Amtrak, Question; Do I have to stay with Dash 8 shells or will another one fit ? Are all the diesel frames the same ?
