Reply to "CHRISTMAS TRAINS - LETS SEE THEM!"

The setup is similar to last year's window layout. We did borrow a couple of new ideas from the forum including using a felt covering instead of buffalo snow on the surface and adding dimension to the mountains by doubling up carved insulated panels. Also added a few more trees and extra people. Running the MTH lighted nativity flat cars with Rudolph and Santa's sleigh in the rear. After starting out with nothing but Christmas trains and cars, these are the only Christmas cars we still have. Being the reason for the season, we think they are perfect. The K-Line Southern steam engine needs a bell, but it goes with the green flat cars. Bought this from a forum member at York 4 or 5 years ago for $100. It never got used because it shorted out too frequently when going through switches, or in reverse around a curve. Figured we'd try it on a small oval going full speed straight ahead! Awesome.
