My son put a very austere layout underneath the tree in the living room this year: a loop of FasTrack and a NYC milk train. Here is a short video of our latest rescue dog (mentioned elsewhere, taken in July 6) watching the train. Unfortunately, she did NOT like the whistle; son doesn't blow it anymore so as not to upset her.
