Yes, they are indeed 1:43.5. O Gauge/O Scale in England ,and Europe, is 1:43 through 1:50, but mostly 1:43 and 1:43.5... US ,O, is 1:48.... As we all know though rarely are figures the exact size they are supposed to be.

These figures from this company are exactly 1:43.5 . Completely accurate.

I prefer 1/43 if I have to paint them. Just that few MM extra makes them a tad easier to paint and handle'...
