Reply to "Cleaning my train cars and engines? Update"

I experienced this problem through needing to remove previously applied brown paint resembling rust. All that's needed is a minimal amount of goo gone, a tissue or preferably non abrasive cloth, and some q-tips for the hard to reach spaces. No factory paint was removed either.
