Reply to "Clockwork Layout Thread"

So updates! Last week I got around to tearing the third rail out of the track I used and laying it down. I also skipped the expensive grass mat, went to the DIY store and found some of that green in/out door carpet. Got it home, cut it to size and stapled the heck out of it to the door, then laid my track on top. The switches I used for this were actually a pair of Japanese 1024 knockoffs and 2 1024's that are missing the little indicator flags.

Now I just have to secure the track. It's really good for what it is, you sure have to be johnny - on - the - spot with the switches though. May add a pair to the one side that doesn't have any yet. I also found some Hafner buildings that look like they're in good shape on the auction site, from that old accessory set with 3. There's just enough room for the platform and two stations either on curves or a straight somewhere!
