Assuming the guy in the pic is 6' tall +/- the box frames underneath the model seem to be 4' in length each , 16 ' plus over hang at each end, you could calculate from there. I was in the SeaLand offices in Port Newark on business in the late 90s and I believe they had at least one very large model of a container ship on display, the offices had some great mural size pictures of these ships at sea in some rough conditions.
