If it had, Lionel would have made the pivot already. That said, and while I don't have any data to back this up, I have to believe this debacle has hurt their sales. As long as people are buying this stuff, bad trucks and couplers,faulty audio boards, neon versions of every paint scheme etc. Theres no reason for Lionel to change. The box is still orange and blue.
