It is quite large. Google the Strassburg RR Steam Shops. There's a lot of good pictures of it and stuck right there in the middle is the wheel lathe upon which I based my freelance design. It's surrounded by more standard stuff. I still have to design and print a vertical turret lathe which is another large machine that would be in such a shop. I also need to put in some kind of jib crane or other material handling system since a lot of the parts are beyond human lifting capacity.
