They use standard telephone jacks. I have put jacks at key operating locations around the layout. Then just unplug from one jack and plug a remote into another jack near your turntable.

How are you wiring the TT to account for the fact it is a reverse loop? I am using electronic sensing solid state boards to flip the polarity.

Thank you for the reply. Finding rheostats does seem to be a struggle.  I will keep looking.

As for the TT, yes I have an electronic board to flip the polarity.  A very impressive piece, it works very well.
