Probably, but I think I'd save the money and get it running with the stock motors. Then if you don't like the performance, you could go for the upgraded motors. I've done a number of non-flywheel motor upgrades, they generally ran fine with the Cruise Commander. I suspect the Timko motors will add at least $100 to the price...
