I think major problem is Bobbins we ordered we could only get 300 turns on them not 600.

Reason for the DC I couldn't get enough of a cold even drop the magnet even up close on the workbench and I also have a DC supply as well underneath the layout.

It is steel Rod and it is at the height of the middle rail
