Look at the motherboard next to the connector for the text "M3". That is pin 23. The pin opposite is pin 24 serial data. Plug in the R2LC and see if any of pin 24 is visible between the motherboard and the R2LC. If not you will have to solder the blue wire to the underside of the board to pin 24.

Here is pic showing top and bottom of the motherboard.
