Recently I purchased a set of ten really faded Milwaukee road baby Madison passenger cars, story goes they were in a hobby shop store window for years. 8 of these cars (sans the baggage and presidential observation) were taken apart and repainted to go with my GE999 locomotive. Upgrades include new operable couplers (this required mods on the vestibules, so the couplers had clearence) replaced all the og plastic pins that held the trucks on with 6/32 screws and locking nuts, new contact rollers, and eventually LED lighting in the cars.
