Reply to "Cutting Lionel American Flyer FasTrack to custom lengths"

I used Fastrack on my American Flyer layout. Before Lionel offered shorter sections of track, I cut sections to fit. I didn’t encounter any problems reinserting the rail joiners or unevenness of height. You might want to practice on a sacrificial piece of track beforehand, but otherwise, you should have no problem.
