CW80 transformer accessory problems

Hello again! I recently purchased a log dump car and sawmill on eBay. For that portion of my layout I am powering with an older CW80. I have tried every combination of wiring, following the wiring directions provided, and still get no power to the controlling track and switch that operates the log dump. I have several other accessories on the layout ( powered by an old ZW) and they work fine! Have read the “research “ on this forum and realize this particular transformer is a challenge! Short of calling Lionel or just moving to a new power source, any suggestions? Many thanks!
