Years ago I was at a hardware store one Sunday in Long Beach MS and asked if anyone had any old trains around there. A man had passed away the year before and someone called his widow to see if she still had his trains. She did and I was able to buy several boxes of stuff from her. When I got home and looked through everything there were these two 'el cheap-O deluxe' gondolas that I wasn't familiar with. The silver and the yellow ones. Consulting the Greenberg book I soon discovered what I had! I wrote to the lady and explained about them, telling her it was like collecting rare stamps or similar and sent her an extra $200 I think it was. She cashed the check but I never heard back from her with a thanks...
