I was wondering what your experience has been with the recently introduced HiLine series of sound systems from Dallee, particularly the #1510 Diesel Sounds Full-featured Sound system with which you can switch between different diesel types (Alco, EMD, etc.) and select different individual sounds (horn, bell, etc.) as well. I used earlier sounds systems from Dallee, but that was back in the day when they were used with S-Helper/Locomatic 10-button control boxes and had the requirement of a choke in every powered engine, car, caboose, etc. in the train. I understand now that their new systems can be activated with any standard control/activation system (as well as still a LocoMatic, but you still also need chokes in that case). If you can comment on Dallee HiLine compared to ERR RS Commander that would be great to hear from you about as well. Thanks. I plan to install a Dallee #1510 along with a #518 reverse unit in a box car to tow behind various diesel engines that are not sound enabled.
