Reply to "DCS Commander Issue."

When I got home from work this morning I thought to my self, self do you think Barry Broskowitz would have something to say about this in the DCS Companion? Well on page 196 he goes into the issue in a fair amount of debth.
In short on page 201 Barry says that for a PS2/PS3 engine to be fully reset to it's factory default it must be reset using the DCS TIU and DCS Remote .
The transformer reset will bring the engine to almost a full reset but the DCS address number as set by the remote remains.
You can also use the DCS Commander to reset an engine to factory one. This is not to be confused with the $40.00 DCS Remote Commander that we are talking about. "A PS2 or PS3 engine cannot be reset to it's factory default values usine the DCS Remote Commander".

So, I have to to put my Daylight on the DCS track and reset it to factory defaults per the inbstructions of part2, "Reset Engine" in the Companion.

So you are on the right track John. I'm going to try it tonight when I get up. I will post then and let all who is interested know how it works out.

Thank you Barry, now you are solving my problems before you even get up in the morning. Big Grin
