I'm expecting delivery of a MTH train set soon. It has PS-3 technology, but my layout has only the "bargain basement" version of DCS -- the Remote Commander gear (sometimes called "DCS lite").

A MTH Z1000 transformer is wired to my layout and the Remote Commander is installed. Question: is it adequate for this locomotive?
