The app needs an advanced settings panel where you can plug in IPs for each TIU and skip all the searching. I think that would make it much more robust to use....

If I recall correctly, it may be possible to use LuCI to set a static IP address for a WIU. I'm not able to look into LuCI at this time, however, on page 11of the full WIU Manual there's a setting for "Network Configuration" and the associated "Protocol" that may allow setting a static IP address.

Regardless, it makes more sense to me to have my router serve static IP addresses to the WIUs, based on their MAC addresses. This way, the WIUs stay in factory setting mode.
