Well, I've done it now. Got a new TIU and tried to create a super TIU, because I have 2 layouts (overhead and table) and also want DCS for the larger conventional one. Followed manual step by step, which said to reset the remote and the TIU's, move the old TIU address to 2 first. Now the remote won't communicate with either TIU. I'm going through the menu's to add engines and can't do it on either layout.
1.) I tried to change the TIU address on both separately and got TIU error messages so I don't think the remote is communicating with them.
2.) These are completely separate layouts, with separate power supplies, but I only have one remote.
3.) Deleted each TIU and reset them before trying the other one, so the remote is not reading them together.
4.) Can't even add my three engines back to the overhead layout.
5.) Figure resetting the remote caused this, but can't figure how to at least get it back to where I started. Must have missed a step...
6.) Called MTH, but no techs on Mondays.
HELP!!! AGAIN!!!
