So badly so, as the engine rolled- one section lost power and another section the MTH train was on ALSO power cycled sans watchdog signal. Things that could allow that is a track system depending heavily on the rail joints to carry the power with few feeders and loose track joints. As the train rolls and draws current, it also can ever so slightly move or shift the rail and thus the loose joints at the ends of the track spark and go high resistance.
