Sometimes one starts in conventional, other times one just won't move even though the lights respond. Once in a great while the direction button fixes it, but not often. I have to shut off the TIU and try startup again. It seems to me that the first MU startup takes 3 to 4 seconds, but the other two much less after the first one is going.
