When they first announced this topic a year ago, MTH said they would continue using the remote and parts, even had another production run, when I went to my local MTH repair place to buy a couple of thumb wheels he told me the same thing, so I didn't buy any of his, after all he does need them. and I do have one extra. Guess ill look for more used remotes.
