I used rubbing alcohol and a micro brush to remove some pad printing on a Intermountain kit car. Apply the alcohol to the micro brush and lightly rub the pad printing, keep repeating this process until the printing starts to lift, when the printing is removed dab dry, the alcohol will flash dry, the paint was not affected. To be safe, test the painted surface under the car body to make sure the alcohol does not start lifting the paint, from my experience touch up paint rarely matches the manufacturer painted color.
