Reply to "December 7, 1941 and Pearl Harbor Navy Railroad"

My brother came back from his second honeymoon in Hawaii and told me this story. He went on the tour of the ships in Pearl Harbor and learned about what happened. He came upon a wreath placed on one of the ships (Missouri?) to honor the Japanese grandfather who had passed away. He was a bomber who had attacked Pearl Harbor that day.

 I might have the story's exact facts messed up but how is that possible? That infuriated me and I wasn't even there. Yes we need to forgive, but not forget!
