Derr 25T steeplecab

In a strange convergence of events, i.e., the cleaning and a good re-org of my shop, I managed to locate a neat little box labeled for the Derr 25T steeplecab, Little "GE"nny.  I vaguely recall picking this up somewhere and then apparently I promptly shoved it into the back of workbench #1 and then it was out of sight - out of mind for a few years.  Appears to have all the parts that were recently sold on eBay and then a good bit more, even including a pole, and a note from Derr about milled sides, etc.  However, no trucks or sideframes were in the box.

Curiously, about 18 months ago I had managed to snare a little steeplecab and dropped that into the project queue to be worked upon whenever its number came up - that same cleaning operation put it with the Derr box which immediately indicated that it was an assembled Derr steeplecab.

Moral of the story is that is pays to periodically clean up the shop - never quite know what you may find and that it just might be surprisingly good, too.
