Ok, I feel a little better now that it's still somewhat difficult even with fewer push buttons and knobs. 
Once I get all the knobs, push buttons and menus figured out, I have to learn what all the fuzzy little lines on the screen are telling me. 
I am still enjoying it though, it'll be great when/if I get this stuff all figured out.
