Did MTH not make many of the Premier Phase V Genesis locos?

I'm always on the lookout. There are tons of Phase III and IV available, and about a zillion of the FP59's.

Were they limited edition or something?

Same goes for the Chicago Metra E-8 units and the Metra bi-level cars. I know they were made, but I've literally never seen them in stock or for sale on any site anywhere.
