Only took 5 days. Nothing beats watching paint dry

That really looks good. Actually great. What did you finally use and how did you do it?

Steve

2 glued together 2 inch foam. Smack it all over with a really rough rock to give some texture. Coat with black Gesso. Paint tan craft acrylic, Paint individual blocks with 2 different shades of brown, medium grey and dark grey. Three light black washes. Two dark brown washes. One partial crocodile green acrylic wash. All Folk Art acrylics. The washes were pretty thin. Stick on some green stuff.

Individual blocks were cut with a hot wire cutter to a scale 3x5 feet. If I had it to do over I would have used an exacto and a pencil. Hot wire too hard to maintain even depth unless you have steady hands which I don't anymore.

Thanks

joe
