Difference between Woodland Scenics Outcroppings/Surface Rocks

I'm forced to buy this sight unseen (I hate doing that!) and both Outcroppings and Surface Rocks look very similar in the Woodland Scenics 2011 Catalog.

Anyone know what the difference is between them or how/where they are intended to be used?
