Propylene Unit usually requires three distillation towers.

Two for the separation of propylene and propane. The 3rd tower is used for the separation of ethylene.

Propylene is stored and transported in horizontal tanks with dished ends rated at ca. 220 psig.

The Horton spheres are used for the storages of C2's
