What various ways are available to dim lighting accessories (street lights,etc) on my O gauge layout? I want to have the flexibility of changing their intensity.

Is this intensity adjustment something you'd do once a day, once a week, once a year, etc.?

Approximately how many circuits and/or potentially independent voltages are involved?
