I agree the prototype was large, so I revised it with a smaller DC/DC converter. This one is 2 3/4" long, and about half the weight. It now uses a precision reference so the output voltage is adjustable. It maintains regulation for over 10 seconds driving a 12" 5V LED strip at 3.2V.
