Alas, there is no more DL&W. The modern shortline in Scranton is the Delaware-Lackawanna, somehow related to the Genesee Valley Transportation Rail System.
The Delaware, Lackawanna and Western merged with the Erie to become the Erie Lackawanna in 1960.
The above pictured GVT and “Lackawanna” cabooses in white and gray are from the old DL&W, however, built in their Dunmore shops in the 50’s on old tender frames.
