Yes, I and my brother still have our first train sets that Santa Claus brought us for Christmas in 1956. My brother’s was the box cab electric loco 520 loco and set with Baby Ruth box car, short gondola, and caboose. Mine was the 1615 0-4-0 switcher work train set with wheel car, crane, and work caboose. I still have it and still love it. It’s displayed on a shelf, and still runs.
