I had been wanting to buy a Lionel "Made in USA" postwar locomotive for years because I have only modern scale-sized trains. So, I had been shopping at train shows with the intention to buy for a while but hadn't found what I was looking for. The switcher at Westchester seemed to be a very nice example. It still sits on a siding at the front of my layout. So - not really an impulsive purchase in my opinion.

I do hope we can get together at Westchester in 2021.
