I dropped the -C13 into a locomotive on the bench that has the C08, it makes no difference to the smoke unit here. I believe the C11 and C13 versions were for stuff like Odyssey improvements. I've used them interchangeably several times with no ill effect. My test bench board set uses a R2LC-C13 board, it happened to be the one I grabbed and plugged in.
