Thanks for posting this Curt. My most recent purchases are Imperial Rail Kings like your son's (in fact, including EXACTLY the one your son bought) and they all came with the longer draw bar. I'm planning to replace with shorter draw bars on a couple of them, so I'll be following this with interest.
