Denny,

Great layout.  Fun!

Looks like you are using an actual sUAS and in the second video dubbing in train sounds (drones don't have mics).  Really nice work.

My sUAS would blow over the cars, but I may try it anyway.  Maybe stay close to the ceiling.

The drone is owned and operated by my Grandson Travis. This drone is a DJI mini 2 with a base price of $450.00.

He sets the camera to record at 2720 x 1530 at 60 frames per second. The 60 FPS helps reduce the jerky movement in a video such as train cars going by. Then I edit the drone videos using Cyberlink Power director 20. In some cases I reduce the video speed to ½ normal reducing the frame rate to 30 FPS. After the video editing is completed sound tracks are added. Next the video goes through a Cyberlink produced process and up loaded to you tube.  A two minute HD video size is more than a gig and takes about an hour to up load to you tube. After up load you tube will take some time to get the HD version out on line.

Cyberlink Power Director 20 is not free but an editor that is A free HD editing software is

DaVinci Resolve 17.

My living room rail road is 14 years old and I have walked past the layout several times a day. Watching the drone videos has opened up a whole new viewing experience of the old layout.
