You may have an LED going bad. I recall some ancient thread here alluding to a bad batch of LEDs that caused flaky results. Try pulling the LEDs out of motor and see if problem ceases. Ditto for the Z1000 control box if used.

Or possibly the microswitch inside motor may be loose or going bad. Not much inside them to work on.
