One of the things I miss from my days in Penna!

A little off-topic here.  But in the early '80s my parents took me to the Greenberg's great train show at the Philadelphia Civic Center.  One of the operating layouts that appeared regularly was a large-scale model of an elevated railroad.  These trains were enormous!  Track gauge was perhaps 3 1/2", and I believe all of the equipment was custom-made.  The "layout" was point-to-point.  The stainless steel El car would go flying from one end of the room to the other through a truss bridge, and I think there was a maintenance train, too.

I think the name of the group was East Falls traction, or something like that.  Does anyone else remember this exhibit?  Haven't seen it in years, what became of them??

That would be Jimmy Sparkman's Fallon Street Elevated, and, yes, all the equipment and structures are custom made.

Not sure what its current status is.
