My new F7 came with a pilot with scale coupler. My question is how to take off the stock pilot and install the new one. thanks for any help.

I know it won't be exactly what you're looking for, but Eric's Trains did a video reviewing an F3 where he shows how to swap the 3 rail pilot with the fixed 2 rail version so it might show you what you're looking for.
