Elmer's Spray Adhesive

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried using Elmer's Spray Adhesive to secure Woodland Scenics' fine turf. Up until this point, I have used a combination of Woodland Scenics' "Scenic Cement" and Elmer's Glue/water/dish soap which thus far has done an adequate job. However, the layout I'm working on is portable, so I am trying to secure the turf so that it's as hard as possible (I had to pile on numerous layers, which prevents me from securing the scenery directly to the foam board).

If anyone has ever used Elmer's Spray adhesive for turf/scenery will it completely dry, or will it remain sticky on the top layer (since I'm assuming it is meant to go between two objects rather than on-top)?

Any advice or feedback would be appreciated.
