There is a section when you push on the gear where you can control engine sound and chuffing if steam. As well as pitch of horn. I’ve looked all over the internet for an answer and can’t find one. I have an email sent to Lionel but have not heard back. 

Yep, interesting that every single demo which comes up uses a steam engine rather than a diesel
