Hey guys, I think I am close to a final version. I would like to get a couple of volunteers (3 or 4 of you) to try out the chips, and let me know how they work for you.
I would send you two chips to try out in a couple of your engines. All I ask is that you respond directly to me if there are any issues, so I can get them fixed before distributing more. We might have to go through a couple of revisions if there are too many problems, but I am crossing my fingers.
Most of my tests have been in diesels where the squeal of older EOB chips is more pronounced.
Once we get a final version that is acceptable, you can post the results and impressions here. The more varied engine types you can try them out in the better. You have to be comfortable in replacing a dip package IC on the EOB board to give the new chip a try.
If you are interested, and can get me some feedback within 2 weeks, email me directly. The first 3 or 4 of you that email me will get to test them out. I would prefer someone with a large number (6+) EOB engines so that they can try the chips out in as many different engine types as possible. Thanks.
