I have a Dash 8 with EOB . It starts out slow but is always a good runner.Doesn't smoke worth beans but I like it. Always have had good service out of Atlas stuff.I have some 45 year old engines that are still running strong.
It's funny that EOB is out of production and coarse the excuse is always that the components are no longer available. But every new engine I see in Weavers catalog says smoke by TAS?????? What'd he buy 50 thousand of those things ?

Charly your best bet is a cruise commander turned up on it's side. You can also check with Ken at ERR and see if he thinks the mini commander will carry the load. It would fit easily into the RS-1. Both will run the sound board and you'll probably have to convert to LED's for headlights.
