ERR Cruise Commander Install, engine takes off!

So I put an ERR Cruise Commander into an MTH Sd40 with dual can motors and I think I wired everything the right way. But when I turn the wheel just a touch the engine jets off at full speed! I can immediately turn the wheel back down and bring it to a stop. But it seems to be either full speed or stop in both directions.

Any ideas guys?
