Err failed. Replace with original e-unit?

I have a Flyonel PA diesel locomotive. I had replaced the original e-unit with an err and it ran fine with command. Now it doesn’t run at all. Can one still get a replacement unit or should I just go back to the original e-unit? Unfortunately, I cannot find the original e-unit (one look in my shop and you’d understand) so what is the Lionel part number for the unit? Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
